The http://mzbworks.home.att.net/s22.htm Sword&Sorcery anthology, edited by Marion Zimmer Bradley's trustee, (wonder what'll happen when they die?) is calling for submissions for its twenty-second edition.
They are looking for fantasy stories with strong, believable female characters. Gore and rape is not permitted (no details; mentioning one or the other briefly is tolerable) and it is expected to be kept about PG-13 I think. In keeping with tradition of the anthology, they will reply to all stories within one week.
The deadline for story submissions is April 20th. Short notice, I know, but I only found this last night.
All in all, great oppertunity. They pay 5 cents/word. I'm submitting, and I'd love to see some fellow bloggers submit, since so many of us seem to be writers

Interesting. I'm not a big fiction writer myself, but I LOVE Marion Zimmer Bradley, especially her Ghostlight, Heartlight, etc books. Good luck with your submission, Dianna!
