Big thumbs up to Dylan's suggestions.
And whooboy, this could be a mighty big list, even with a dearth of feminist film and women-made film, so I'll have to reign myself in for now since I'm trying to meet a deadline for a piece I already missed.
But I just rewatched Antonia's Line a couple weeks ago, so that one's fresh.
What else? The Magdalene Launderies, Norma Rae, The Accused, A League of Their Own, Bread and Roses, Silkwood, Out of Africa, Ladybird, Ladybird, Frieda, The handmaid's Tale, The Bandit Queen, The Joy Luck Club, Fire, Leaving Normal, The Nasty Girl, Orlando, The Hours, and for the love of Hel, Thelma and Louise.
